Catherine (Cate) Despatie is a Master of Global Affairs (MGA) candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Global Development Studies with a language certificate in Spanish from Queen’s University. Inspired by her experiences in government and the international non-profit sector, Catherine hopes to pursue a career in policy at the intersection of gender, development, and security. Her research interests include Canadian politics, feminist foreign policy, and resource extraction in the Global South.


Zacharias Grigoriadis is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. He holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts in History from Queen’s University, concentrating in 19th and 20th century political history. He has work experience in both the Ontario and Federal Public Service. Zach’s policy and research interests include macroeconomic policy, international trade, and organized labour.
Spencer Neufeld is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. His policy interests include urban and environmental policy, climate change, public transportation and welfare economics. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Calgary.
