Pierre Sarlieve is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. After having written a Bachelor’s Thesis on the history of French Laïcité and the 1905 Law of Separation of the Churches and the State, he turned to public policy to further understand the intersection of governance, politics and history. He hopes to use this knowledge to become a policy analyst aware of the social forces guiding policy programs and take the past into account in his analyses, giving him a precious resource to develop relevant strategies and reform policies.

Emerson Ludiciani is a first year Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. He previously graduated from York University with an honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government. Some of his policy interests include labour, environmental and social policy.

Rhea Orlando is a Master of Public Policy Candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Her interests include digital government, heritage and culture, education, and urban policy. Rhea holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in psychology and marketing.

Jacob O’Connor is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. His interests include social welfare, climate change, international development, and social policy broadly. His motivation for joining the Munk School was to develop and hone policy analysis skills in order to expand the means by which he can make a positive impact in the world. Jacob holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Toronto.

Ally Buchanan is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. She currently works as a Training Assistant with the New Brunswick Institute for Research, Data, and Training. Her interests include education, social, and international policy. Ally holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership from the University of New Brunswick.

Juvairiyya Hanslod completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Human Rights at York University. She specialized in Community Development and is passionate about community organizing work in issues such as housing, refugee resettlement, and food insecurity. Juvairiyya’s policy interests include affordable housing, urban displacement, poverty reduction, and community safety.
